How to Use
- Towel first, dryer second. Squeeze out the excess with a towel or old tee so the Ethos isn't wasting its 2,300 watts on water it doesn't need to shift.
- Rough-dry. High speed, medium heat, fingers moving through the roots until hair is damp rather than dripping.
- Pick your nine. Straight and smooth? Higher heat, high speed, tension with a brush, nozzle pointed down the hair shaft. Fine or colour-treated hair? Drop the temperature and let the airflow do the lifting.
- Curls, click on the MagicSense. Cup a section, hold it at the root, let it sit still and let the DFO work. Shaking the diffuser around is how curl patterns get broken up.
- Finish cool. Hair sets as it cools, so the last pass is the one that decides how long your style lasts.
Pro tip: Speed and temperature are separate dials for a reason. Finish every blow-dry on the highest speed with the lowest temperature — you get maximum airflow to lock the shape in while the hair cools, and thanks to the memory function, that exact combination is waiting for you the next time you switch on.
