Ready to dive in? Follow these simple steps for perfectly textured waves:

1. Prep Your Hair 

• Ensure your hair is clean and completely dry.
• Spray a heat protectant liberally over your entire head. This is your hair's armor!

2. Power Up & Heat 

• Plug in the Mermade Double Waver.
• Use the temperature control to select the right heat setting for your hair. Fine/thin hair needs lower heat; thick/coarse hair needs higher heat.
• Allow the tool to fully heat up—it's super fast!

3. Clamp & Count 

• Starting from the top layer of your hair, take a small to medium section (the smaller the section, the more defined the wave).
• Clamp the Waver close to the root (but avoid touching your scalp!).
• Hold for just 3 to 5 seconds. Pro Tip: Don't hold for too long!

4. Release & Repeat

• Release the clamp and immediately re-clamp the Waver just below the wave you just created.
• Line up the top barrel with the bottom dip of the previous wave to ensure a continuous, flowing pattern.
• Work your way down the section until you reach the ends.

5. Finish Strong

• Once all sections are waved, let your hair fully cool down. This sets the style!
• For a relaxed, natural look, gently brush out the waves with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers.
• Finish with a light spritz of hairspray to lock your gorgeous new texture in place!
